Twitter is going to identify and even restrict the range of tweets of Russian state-affiliated news sources.

Any Tweets posting Russian state material will not be endorsed by Twitter and are going to be obstructed from showing up its Top Search feature. Twitter outlawed advertising/banned marketing created by RT and Sputnik shortly after the United States of America intelligence concluded that both of these outlets made an effort to disrupt the 2016 presidential political election.

Not one of the U.S.-owned technology firms has replied with an outright restriction regarding those channels.

Twitter revealed Monday that this decision happened shortly after experiencing more than 45,000 tweets daily coming from individuals distributing Russian state-affiliated press hyperlinks.

Microsoft revealed that it would not show web content or advertisements coming from RT and Sputnik also. More Here.
