Ukraine reaches out to volunteer hackers in an unparalleled worldwide initiative. The type of desecrating cyberattacks believed most likely to follow a massive Russian armed assault have never happened in the past history.

The government of Ukraine is asking for volunteers from the country’s hacker underground … according to two people involved in the project. … Requests for volunteers began to appear on hacker forums on Thursday morning.
It’s unclear why Russia has not landed a more effective cyber strike as of yet.
One hacker group that turned up last year, the Belarus Cyber Partisans, claimed on Monday to have disturbed a few railroad services using hacking as the ultimate tool of attack.
