During a heartfelt homage to the late grandmother the Queen that took place on Saturday, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie referred to Queen Elizabeth II as their “guide” and “matriarch.”

The kids of ousted Prince Andrew & his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, released a lengthy statement accompanying a picture of themselves as youngsters with their grandmother. The letter began, “Since you left us all, we have not been able to put much into words,” and it was accompanied by a photo.

“There have been tears and laughter, silences and talk, embraces & loneliness, and a collective loss for you, our dear Queen, and our beloved Grannie. ” “There has been a collective loss for you, our beloved Queen & our beloved Grannie. We, along with a lot of other people, imagined you’d be staying here forever. And each and every one of us miss you tremendously.

“You were our matriarch, and guide, the loving hand on our backs as we navigated this world,” they said. You taught us a great deal, and we will always be grateful for the teachings as well as the memories they provided.

The two individuals went on to express their gratitude to Queen Elizabeth for a variety of reasons, including the fact that she had made them laugh, “picked heather and raspberries,” and had made “our teas.”
