Warsaw Will Remain the Primary Military Backer of Ukraine

Andrzej Duda, the President of Poland, recently said to Euronews that Warsaw would continue to take the primary role in providing military help to Ukraine, including the shipment of tanks that are urgently required.

According to his explanation, “at the present time, we will give out to Ukraine some Leopard tanks from our forces. At the same time, of course, we will be modernizing our own military & taking good care of our own security.” “As Polish officials, we are definitely aware that this is part of our responsibility.”

He referred to Poland as a security stabilizer on the eastern frontier of NATO on his Twitter account. And he continued “Empires and zones of influence cannot be allowed to make a comeback under any circumstances.

“Western public opinion’s assistance in discouraging aggressors is desperately required at this time.”

Andrzej Duda, the President of Poland, recently said to Euronews that Warsaw would continue to take the primary role in providing military help to Ukraine, including the shipment of tanks that are urgently required.

He was speaking at the World Economic Forum, which was being held in the ski resort town of Davos in Switzerland. There, he participated in various panels that discussed the state of security in Europe. In addition to that, he was present at the resort’s Ukrainian House for the launch of an exhibition on Russian war crimes committed in Ukraine.

He emphasized that Poland will remain committed to encouraging western countries to increase their level of military assistance for Ukraine.

He went on to add that “we’ve talked a lot about the Polish proposal of supplying Leopard tanks to Ukraine,” and that “as part of the allied help from other nations, we might bring together all these Leopard tanks and build at least an armed brigade for Ukraine.”
