Ontario Lifting COVID-19 Public Health Measures

Ontario Premier Doug Ford is scheduled to make an announcement Thursday morning on his government’s plan to begin lifting COVID-19 public health measures in the province.

Ontario reverted back to a modified version of Step 2 of the Ford government’s reopening plan on Jan. 5, closing indoor dining rooms, gyms, movie theatres, and reducing private social gatherings to a maximum of five indoors. The province has said these restrictions will remain in place until at least Jan. 26.

Today Doug Ford is planning to ease COVID-19 restrictions on indoor restaurant dining, gyms, movie theatres, and more on Jan. 31, allowing them to open at 50 percent customer capacity with masking protocols and proof of vaccination.

One person said ” Don’t do us any favors Mr. Ford” “We Have NO faith in you anymore!”
