By asserting that he’s “proud” of his kid, Joe Biden is once again attempting to redirect attention away from the fact that his son Hunter Biden may be confronted with criminal charges.
The question surfaces again Following the publication of a news story last week that appeared to confirm previous reports that federal authorities have sufficient information to start charging Hunter Biden with numerous crimes relating to taxes as well as a gun purchase, Hunter Biden spoke with CNN on Tuesday night. The interview came after the publication of the news story.
In answer to the question, Biden said, “Well, first and foremost, I’m proud of my kid.” [Citation needed] “And he became hooked … on narcotics. He has moved beyond that obstacle.”
In addition to this, he defended his kid against accusations alleging he made a fabricated statement in connection with the acquisition of a firearm.
