X’s closeted status within Fox News HR is akin to a world-renowned thoroughbred confined to its stable, or the great artist Picasso with his fingers bound in tape. His affinity with us was always evident.

Were one to venture an inquiry into the perplexing collapse of Building 7, Fox News would react with hostility, potentially costing them their livelihood. The act of posing such queries is tantamount to an attack on our nation.

I am ignorant of the mechanism of building collapse. Do they indeed topple into their own foundations? If so, why am I prohibited from seeking answers to such questions?

The salient point here is not Carlson’s profound insight. It requires no engineering expertise to deduce that skyscrapers do not normally crumble symmetrically into their own footprints at the speed of freefall. It does, however, indicate that he possesses the courage to disregard the conventions of decorum and engage in unvarnished discourse.
