Boxing Legend Accused of Sexual Misconduct

Two different women have made allegations of sexual misconduct against

According to formal complaints in the United States, former champion heavyweight professional boxer George Foreman, now 73, is accused of sexually abusing two women in the 1970s.

Legend Accused of Sexual Misconduct

The women claim that they met Foreman when they were young because their fathers had boxing connections and Foreman was a close friend of their families. Foreman is most known for his 1974 ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ contest against Muhammad Ali.

According to one of the cases, Foreman allegedly started grooming the victim when she was eight years old and sexually attacked her at the age of 15. According to the second lawsuit, Foreman assaulted the plaintiff while she was 15 and 16.

One of the complaints alleges that Foreman threatened the victim’s father with job loss if the girl notified anybody about the alleged abuse when she was a toddler.

Foreman has disputed the charges and said he is the target of a blackmail effort in a response he released in July when they were initially made.
