The husband of the Canadian Minister of Defence Anita Anand is a director of a COVID testing firm that gained monetarily in the course of the pandemic by getting millions of dollars through state and federal government deals or contracts.
Based on Blacklock’s Press reporter, Anand never disclosed under the Conflicts of Interest Act, that her hubby, John Knowlton, is also a director at LifeLabs, which is a big contractor for the federal government’s COVID testing.
Anita Anand neglected to acknowledge any kind of prospective conflict of interest in spite of many millions in federal government contracts being granted to a firm that had never in the past carried out any significant service with the federal government.
