Dr. Kieran Moore, the Medical Director of Health for the province of Ontario, issued a strong recommendation on Monday that individuals start wearing masks in all indoor public venues, including schools and other facilities that care for children. However, Moore refrained from recommending bringing back the mask requirement in the province.

Moore said at a news conference that the health system in the province is under “exceptional stresses” due to the continuous circulation of COVID-19, more than the typical increase in respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and influenza.

Moore was quoted as saying that “what we will be facing is a triple threat that requires our joint action to safeguard the most vulnerable in our neighborhoods, the very young, the very old, and those with underlying medical issues and to make sure that our health-care system is still able to care for Ontarians when they need it.” “What we are facing is a triple threat”. All this timed perfectly with the seasonal FU. Coincidence? or planned?

According to a representative for the City of Windsor, Moore’s remarks have been brought to the attention of city authorities.
