A special prayer that I say each night
To give my thanks and make everything right
I close my eyes and bow my head
And ask for blessings upon me to be shed

I pray for strength to face the day
For the courage to find my own way
I pray for love to fill my heart
And peace to play a crucial part

I pray for those who need it most
For those who are lost and feel so alone
I pray for health and happiness too
For all the good things that will come to you

This special prayer is my guiding light
It helps me through the day and through the night
It fills me with hope and fills me with cheer
And brings me closer to God who’s always near
