Telltale Indications That Your Body Is Craving A Change In Diet

Some of you may be reading this and thinking, “I don’t believe I need to be on a diet program since I look healthy just the way I am.” Although outward appearances might be indicative of overall health, internal processes are where the action really lies.

Most North Americans see stomach problems as an inconvenience.

In Ayurveda, these factors are considered the root cause of all diseases. You quickly make your way to the pharmacy in search of antacids and medications to combat diarrhea and bloating. The latest version of Advil is always within reach. Physical appearance reflects inner experiences. There’s an issue, and you should pay attention, but most of us don’t pay attention until we’re physically ill.

Here are some of the ways your body may try to alert you that something is amiss.

Now you’re beginning to show signs of being overweight. Sweet and salty foods promote weight gain because they provide earth-promoting calories. The Ayurvedic tradition recommends including sweet foods in the diet as a means of achieving and maintaining a state of satisfaction associated with the taste of sweetness.

There’s something covering your tongue. Take a peek at your tongue first thing in the morning. If your tongue has a white, yellow, or brown coating, it’s a sign that your body isn’t digesting food effectively.

You suffer from chronic digestive issues including constipation, gas, and bloating. Vata dosha with Agni-manda is a common symptom of this condition. Laxatives and gas relief tablets are often used to combat the issue. According to Ayurvedic principles, digestive fire and Vata should be in harmony for optimal health. Smoothies and salads are some of the most harmful things a Vata individual can eat, although many Vata persons like them regularly. Their diet ought to include more prepared meals and less salad. The salad is too airy and chilly for those with a Vata dosha.

Constant stomach upset. The imbalance of the fire element may be a common issue that many individuals deal with. The gastrointestinal system may use diarrhea to expel a potentially hazardous substance. It’s best to let diarrhea run its course and cure itself, but if it persists after a few days, you may want to examine your diet for foods that are inflammatory to the digestive tract or seek out ways to restore balance to your body’s fire element. Diarrhea may cause dehydration and poor nutrient absorption, which can lead to malnutrition. One of the world’s leading causes of death is stress. Among the many health problems that stress may bring on is heart disease. It’s a problem with the heart’s blood arteries that may cause a heart attack. Other forms of heart illness include stroke, hypertension, angina, and myocarditis.

You feel down or nervous a lot of the time. According to Ayurveda, what we eat influences our mental state, mood, and awareness. Because of ama, one may experience anxiety and despair ( foods not properly digested)

Signs of RA include Joint Pain

Inflammation that lasts a long time

After-meal heaviness and drowsiness

So, what are some options?

  1. You can stop ice-cold beverages.
  2. Eat just with a half cup of warm water.
  3. Stop drinking smoothies first thing in the morning; they’ve been linked to obesity
  4. Avoid drinking coffee on an empty belly in the mornings.
  5. Try to avoid company when snacking on fruit.
  6. Eat at a table instead of standing
  7. To maximize your energy, eat your biggest meal during lunchtime.

Ayurveda is a traditional medical practice with the goal of achieving and maintaining mental, physical, and spiritual equilibrium as a means to optimal health and contentment. When someone starts to feel poorly from their regular routine, Ayurveda recommends making some changes to their lifestyle so they don’t get sick and unproductive.

You can keep tabs on your health, learn about any underlying conditions you may have, and take preventative measures thanks to the information provided by Ayurveda screenings and therapies. You may improve your connection with food, your routine, and your inner emotional self with the guidance of Ayurveda.

Why not try incorporating a healthier diet into your lifestyle if you want to lower your chance of developing potentially fatal diseases?
