Ukrainian rep Anton Korynevych said to judges at the International Court of Justice: Russia needs to be stopped and the hall of justice has its job cut out in stopping it.

A decision is anticipated on the demand within a few days, even though that doesn’t mean Russia will follow any kind of order the court could give out.

Assuming that a country does not comply with the courtroom’s order, courts might pursue action from the United Nations Security Committee.

Russia did not attend a hearing Monday at the UN’s top court where Ukraine asked for an immediate halt to Moscow’s invasion.

International courts to investigate Russia’s Ukraine invasion, starting Monday.
