Russia attacked Ukraine on Thursday, striking urban areas and bases using airstrikes and shelling, as citizens loaded into trains and automobiles to run away.
Ukraine’s stated that Russian tanks, soldiers drove across the border and implicated Moscow in letting loose a “full-blown war” that could rewrite the geopolitical order whose after-effects echoed all around the world.

“The people of Ukraine and the government of Ukraine want peace,” Zelenskyy said “But if we come under attack, if we face an attempt to take away our country, our freedom, our lives and lives of our children, we will defend ourselves. When you attack us, you will see our faces, not our backs.”
