The collision of a bus in China that was carrying 47 passengers to a COVID quarantine center resulted in the deaths of at least 27 persons.

As a show of respect to the Communist Party authorities of China, several Chinese localities have reinstituted their lockdown procedures. The quarantine centers in China are running at full capacity as part of the country’s “zero-Covid” program.

Caixin, a Chinese business news source, reported that representatives from Sandu confirmed the riders were “epidemic-related individuals” who were being transported from Guiyang, the same capital of the provincial government, to Lido county, is located approximately 200 kilometers (125 miles) to the southern part of the country.

On Friday, Guiyang confirmed around 180 new instances of the disease. In an effort to prevent the further spread of the illness, China has adhered to a stringent policy known as “zero-COVID,” which involves isolating affected individuals and their close contacts.

According to a story that was published online by a subsidiary of the Guizhou Daily media conglomerate, the bus flipped over at around 2:40 in the morning. After the disaster, it was reported that the provincial officials demanded an investigation into the pandemic transfer & isolation protocols.
