Dmitry Medvedev Claims that Liz Truss will Experience Failure and Dishonor

Many say that Liz Truss will experience failure and dishonor

Dmitry Medvedev, who served as the president of Russia before Vladimir Putin, has predicted that the newly elected prime minister of the United Kingdom, Liz Truss, will carry on the “tradition” established by Johnson’s predecessor by leaving office “in shame.”

On Tuesday, Truss, who had served as the Conservative government’s foreign secretary under Johnson’s leadership, was sworn in as the prime minister.

Early Wednesday, Medvedev, who is presently serving as the deputy head of Russia’s Security Council, remarked on the transition of administrations in the UK by posting the following message on Telegram: “Out goes the freak guy, and in comes the freak lady.” He gave the impression that the new prime minister was “an inept and incompetent thermonuclear Russophobe that has no rudimentary notions about governance, history, or geopolitics but wants to fight Russia in everything.”

He went on to say that Truss, who is the 3rd female prime minister in UK history, is attempting to imitate Margaret Thatcher, who became the 1st woman prime minister in British history, “without having even 5% of her abilities.” Truss also hopes to deal with the energy problem and rising food inflation, which are “the consequence of her own crazy sanctions,” according to the former president.

In her first comment after taking her position in Downing Street, Truss said that “Putin’s war” was to blame for the current energy problem. Where have we heard this one? lol

“She will argue with everyone, fail at just about everything, then leave in disgrace, much like her predecessors, shaggy Boriska,” he said. It would appear that a new custom has developed in Britain, a country that is well-known for the traditions it upholds,” Medvedev wrote.

Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated earlier on Wednesday that the appointment of Liz Truss as PM indicates a “crisis of democracy,” and that her victory in the election for the leadership of the Conservative Party didn’t have anything to do with the demands of the people “since the framework of secret ballot dominates the Anglo-Saxon duo.”

During Truss’s visit to Russia in February, which took place just a few days before the beginning of the military intervention in Ukraine, she rose to prominence in Russia. The previous Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Liz Truss, made the mistake of associating the Russian territories of Voronezh as well as Rostov with those of Ukraine. As a result, she misinformed her equivalents, Sergey Lavrov, that the United Kingdom would never recognise Russia’s sovereign power over these areas.

The UK ambassador, Deborah Bronnert, is said to have confronted her with her error at that point, according to the accounts. Lavrov compared the discussion only with foreign secretary like having a conversation with “a deaf person.”
